EVENT POSTPONED

6 June, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of our 6th Republican President, Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, who passed on 5 June, 2025.

In light of this profound loss, we have made the decision to postpone the aforementioned event originally scheduled for 7 June, 2025 to a date that will be announced in due course.

This somber moment calls for unity and reflection, and we believe it is appropriate to reschedule the event to allow citizens the time to honor the legacy and contributions of the Late.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time of national mourning. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Sombwa Musunsa
Director/CEO National Sports Council of Zambia
